I had a great experience at Clarissa’s and went back several times! I initially went to purchase a veil after a suggestion from a friend – they had dozens of beautiful options that could be customized to your desired length and shade to match your dress. I went back a second time for jewelry and a few hair pieces – the ladies that work at the shop are so helpful! I went back a third time with my mother to pick out jewelry and a hair piece for her as a gift – they were so sweet and were able to convert a bobby pin style to a comb and my mom was thrilled with it and her earrings. They also have lots of cute gifts as well!

The ladies at Clarissa Boutique were incredibly kind, patient and lovely to work with leading up to my wedding. Gretchen was wonderful in helping both me and my mom select the perfect hair accessories and jewelry but that was just the beginning. She also worked magic transforming my mom’s wedding dress from 1980 into a modern, knee-length dress for my bridal shower — and incorporated pieces of both my mom and grandma’s dresses into custom keepsakes. Additionally, Earldine created a beautiful custom veil to perfectly compliment my dress, which I absolutely loved. We visited often for our fittings and always enjoyed working with these ladies and browsing their beautiful store. Highly recommend!

I had such a great experience here! I was helped by Penny, who was so sweet and so thorough in assisting me when searching for a headpiece and earrings for my upcoming wedding. The selection at the boutique is great and they seemed to have options for a wide variety of budgets. Penny really took her time in helping me look at my options and really considered the available choices by looking at photos of my dress and taking my hair/skin coloring into consideration as well. Clarissa’s Boutique in Lawrenceville is without a doubt, the place to find all your wedding accessories. Earldine and her staff were extremely accommodating to my daughter and I. They even had toys and lollipops for my grandchildren. We had a vision for a certain belt to go with out bridesmaids dresses and they were able to find them, adjust it according to size and wanted nothing more than to please. Out hairpins were custom made and they were absolutely stunning. Earldine reviewed many of her catalogues to determine the right earrings to go with the hairpins. It was first class service as if you were the only one in the world that was important. They do not disappoint.

My mother and I went into Clarissa’s to have them redesign my grandmother’s 1940s veil. I wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted, but they were able to come up with numerous ideas and options. They ended up designing a headpiece for me while incorporating my grandmother’s veil. I received so many compliments on the end result. My new headpiece was ready within a week too. It was perfect! i highly recommend Clarissa’s!

Everyone was so nice there and I would recommend them alone just for their excellent customer service. I found all my wedding day jewelry here (headpiece, earrings, and bracelets) and they also made me my veil! They have an endless selection of veils, headpieces, and jewelry to choose from. I have so many good things to say about my experience with the staff at Clarissa Boutique! Through all aspects of wedding accessories (belts, jewelry, and alterations), the ladies at Clarissa’s exceeded all of my expectations. My first purchase at the store was a custom belt for my MOH, who wore a black of the rack dress. They worked with me (and the dress) to figure out what would match my bridal gown, as well as the correct placement since my MOH lived out of town. Needless to say she looked extraordinary! The team sewed the belt into place, added custom beading, and even steamed the dress so that when I picked it up everything was ready to go. They truly go the extra mile for every bride! After this experience I knew that I needed to go back to Clarissa’s for my bridal jewelry. I found the most beautiful headpiece for a high bun, as well as earrings for myself and the mother of the bride. With a 15% off coupon, everything was more than reasonably priced, matched my dress and style perfectly, and came in ahead of schedule. The final interaction that I had with Clarissa was for my rehearsal dinner. I purchased a hi-lo hem gown online that was significantly marked down. When it arrived, the fit was okay but a bit snug (bridal sizes are difficult). The ladies at Clarissa worked their magic and were able to transform my dress into something worthy of a wedding day, not just a rehearsal dinner! Not only did they adjust the fit, but they modified the hemline to perfection. For any alterations, accessories, gowns, or advice, visit the ladies at Clarissa. Everything a bride NEEDS! I had such an amazing experience at Clarissa’s boutique. Penny was wonderful and patient as I tried on a million accessories. She helped me decide and consider all details of accessories so they fit cohesively with my dress. I purchased a cathedral veil, which Penny recommended adding custom sequins to match my dress, a vine headpiece, earrings, garter and lastly a custom face mask that included lace from my wedding dress. No detail was spared and the customer service was impeccable. I also got some history to Clarissa’s boutique, which was originally a fashion school run by Penny’s mother, now Penny and her sisters run the boutique together. I highly recommend this business and thoroughly enjoyed my bridal experience there. Thank you for your help!

I am so glad that I went to Clarissa’s for my accessories and my alterations!!! Their customizable options for jewelry, headpieces, and veils are awesome!! The ladies were so helpful in selecting pieces for myself and my mom. Gretchen did all of my alterations, and my dress was absolutely perfect. It was several sizes too big (I purchased a sample), but you would never know it after my alterations were done. It fit like a glove. Gretchen was also able to add buttons all the way down the back of my dress, which was my dream! Overall the alterations were incredibly reasonably priced and much less expensive than I thought they were going to be, especially given the high quality work. I would absolutely recommend Clarissa’s!
